Thanksgiving 2011

We alternate Thanksgivings between our families and this year was Arceneaux side in Wildwood!  We went up Wednesday night and spent the night.

We slept in a little...

This picture was an early morning golf cart ride.
Mom and dad had this horsey up in the attic and decided to see how Ryan was with it.  He liked it but was a little leery.  Somehow, Michael found a truck show on tv so Ryan is riding on the horse while pointing to a big truck.  He's got it made!
I think Ryan's favorite thing was throwing acorns into the lake.  (The lake is full again!  One evening  a couple of months ago, Mom texted me that it had been POURING for HOURS up there....and the next morning, the lake was full!).
I remember how fun it was to throw stuff in the water so I can relate to Ryan's joy in this :)

We aren't usually Black Friday shoppers but since the world has completely lost it's mind and now stores are opening at 10 p.m. and midnight on Thanksgiving, we decided to try it. I can stay up late but get up at 2 a.m. to go shopping?  Probably not. This was us at midnight at Walmart:

We had a good time!  Mom, Chelle, Aunt Jane and Susanna came with us so it was a good memory :)
